For workers paid by distance
Know your zone in seconds.
Set up your reference point and your zones once. Then search any jobsite and see the straight-line distance, which zone it lands in, and the pay you entered for that zone.
iPhone and Android. 7-day free trial with every new account.
Example only: a job just 0.3 mi past the Zone 2 line. Zone names, distances and pay are whatever you enter.
Why it matters
A few tenths of a mile can change your zone.
Eyeballing a zone map or guessing from drive time is how zone pay gets missed. Check the zone in seconds, then make sure it matches the pay you negotiated for.
The math
If one zone day is worth $15 or more to you, catching it once covers the app for a full year.
How it works
Set it up once. Check any jobsite.
The app starts blank. You put in your own reference point and zones from the agreement or rules you work under.
Create your account
Sign up with your email and a password. Your 7-day free trial starts right away.
Set your reference point
Search the address your zones are measured from. You can change it any time.
Enter your zones
Add each zone's distance range and the extra pay per day for it. Name them however you want.
Check a jobsite
Search the job address and tap Check zone. You get the distance, your zone and its pay, plus both points on a map.
What you get
One job: tell you the zone.
It does
- Straight-line distanceMeasured as the crow flies from your reference point to the jobsite, in miles and kilometers.
- Your zone and its payMatches the distance to the zones you set up and shows the daily pay you entered for it.
- Map checkShows the reference point and the jobsite together so you can confirm you picked the right address.
- Any zone setupThree zones or six, round numbers or odd ones. It works off whatever you enter.
It doesn't
- Track youNo background location tracking. The app only works out a distance when you tap Check zone.
- Use driving milesIt doesn't calculate road distance or drive time. If your rules use road miles, this isn't the tool.
- Decide what you're owedIt runs the math on the settings you give it. Always check the result against your agreement or rules.
Who it's for
If your pay changes by distance, it's for you.
Built for trade work where pay depends on how far the jobsite is from a fixed point, measured in a straight line.

Questions
Straight answers.
Does the app tell me what I'm owed?
No. It shows the zone and pay based on the reference point, zone distances and pay you entered. Your agreement or rules decide what you're actually owed, so check the result against them.
Is Zone Pay Alert connected to a union or employer?
No. Zone Pay Alert is an independent app. It isn't affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by any union, employer or contractor.
Straight-line or driving distance?
Straight-line only, measured point to point on the map. It does not use roads or drive time.
Does it track my location?
No. There's no background tracking. The app only calculates when you tap Check zone.
What happens when my free trial ends?
You can still sign in, but new zone checks are locked until you subscribe.
Can I change my reference point or zones?
Yes. Edit them any time from the app.
Why do I need an account?
Your account holds your trial, your subscription and your settings, so you don't lose them if you reinstall or get a new phone.
